A decade later, trends and technology have come and gone, but I still have a camera
in my hands and I love it more than ever. I'm often asked what I love most about being a photographer and honestly, it's meeting legends like you. Really though! You're out there finding the loves of your life and discovering what it means to be the best versions of yourselves and I get to document the story of it all. Your lives have so enriched mine and ten years later it's an adventure I never grow tired of.

I think marrying Christopher was one of the best experiences of my life. He's the Superman to my Lois Lane and best co-adventurer I could have ever prayed for.
I believe that life is staggering and that sadly, we're just used to it. The smell of rain, the turning color of leaves, even our own love stories... we somehow stop feeling the magnitude of it all. I wish there was a way to capture these feelings, freeze them in time so I could replay it again and again when I forget.
I suppose that's the thrill of photography--capturing the transient. Whether your love is the strong silent kind that shows itself in knowing eyes and tender embraces, or if your love is the loud laughter and infectious kind that can barely contain the joy and excitement you feel... I want to be there. With my camera. Taking snapshots so that time will forever be frozen still.
I believe the best moments are sparked outside expectation, when we let ourselves get swept up in the story that's happening right now, all around us. We can't always plan for these moments--they happen fast... sometimes as fast as the click of a shutter. And they almost always happen when we're not looking around at what everyone else is doing.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER? 10 years. Wow... time flies.
WHAT IF WE WANT TO ORDER PRINTS, BOOKS, OR CANVASES? Yes, yes, and yes! I've got some really great products up my sleeve. Detailed pricing available upon request.
HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT? I deliver an average of 50 images per hour of shooting time. 2 hour portrait session? You can expect 100 images minimum.
WHEN CAN WE EXPECT OUR PHOTOS? I want you to have them as soon as possibly can. You can expect your photos 2-4 weeks after the shoot, but often they show up sooner.
DO YOU TRAVEL? Heck yes, I travel. While I shoot many portraits in Orange County, I am also in San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, as well as out of state and worldwide quite often. It's one of my favorite things to get the opportunity to shoot in a new place!

My favorite places to shoot are those with character. I often shoot in wilderness parks, the beach, and old-timey urban areas. But above all, the best place for a portrait shoot is one that fits your personal style.... and the outfits you're wearing. Fancy ball gowns don't quite fit with a picnic park....
